At the last Community Council meeting, the issue was raised with me of trees blocking the street lights on Weymouth Drive. I raised the matter with Land and Environmental Services and the trees have now been inspected by an Arboricultural officer and works have been instructed to cut back vegetation to 8 street lamps where the light is being obscured and to remove some young growth from the base of the lamp posts. ‬

I have been told that this work will be undertaken within a 12 week period commencing 4 February 2013.‬
