police advice on cars, pavements and dogs

There have been a number of car break-ins recently. Report any suspicious activity to the police on 101 and this will get more police into our area: their current strategy is to flood target areas with officers. If you’re unlucky enough to be a victim, don’t tidy up the damage, but leave it to the scene of crime people to deal with, as they may be able to locate valuable evidence.

The police suggest that when a car has been parked blocking the pavement, you report this by phone on 101.

Community Safety Glasgow’s Environmental Control Unit to report dog fouling is on 0141 287 0354.
